What are your day-to-day responsibilities as Site Operations Manager at Slade Health?
In my role as Operations Manager at Slade Health Geebung, I work with my team to ensure our compounding facility runs safely, efficiently, and consistently delivers high-quality products in a timely manner. I oversee our operations and production processes to ensure our facility adapts with regulatory compliance changes and our compounded products meet the needs of our hospital partners.
What do you enjoy most about your week?
It is a privilege helping my team achieve their own personal goals and aspirations by recognising their strengths and hard work.
How long have you worked at Icon Group and Slade Health? Did you start in a different role before the one you are currently in?
In 2014 I joined the Slade Health team as an oncology production technician following the acquisition of Fresenius Kabi. Over the last ten years I have been fortunate to be given a multitude of opportunities that helped me get to where I am today.
How has your career grown since joining Icon/Slade Health?
My time at Icon has given me an opportunity to reflect upon the things that really matter to me. To be able to align them with the organisation’s mission and know they are reflected in my personal mantra has allowed me to get to where I am. There are always difficult days but being able to have a solid baseline to fall back to has been beneficial.
What aspirations do you have for your career at Icon/Slade Health?
I have been very fortunate to be able to develop my career across several roles in Operations. My focus for the next year will be on getting married but I am always on the lookout for my next big adventure.
