Slade Health delivers:
Chemotherapy compounding and analgesics
Slade Health boasts a strong network of TGA licensed manufacturing facilities across the eastern seaboard. These facilities provide chemotherapy compounding for public and private hospitals nationally.
Slade is committed to improving compounding services, and has developed the Slade Health Order Tracking system (SHOT), an online chemotherapy management system to increase efficiency. SHOT saves pharmacists time and hospitals money by streamlining ordering, eliminating paper orders and reducing transcribing errors.
Slade Health acquired the oncology compounding business Fresenius Kabi Australia (FKA) in October 2015, further expanding Slade’s compounding capabilities. This acquisition included FKA’s TGA licensed compounding facilities in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. McBeath also joined Slade continuing Slade’s chemotherapy compounding capabilities and management of PBS services to hospitals.
Slade Health also provides Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) compounding for public and private hospitals.
Slade also delivers antibiotic compounding nationally from its TGA licensed facilities.
In April 2017, Slade Health acquired MobiLIFE’s antibiotic compounding business to deliver comprehensive compounding services. Slade also distributes the mobiFUSER, a safe and effective at-home care infusion pump. The innovative device delivers medication on a continuous basis over a specified period of time and is ideal for 24-hour intravenous antibiotics. For more information on the mobiFUSER click here.
